I apologized because of the comment in reply #18 that I had already decided before I asked the question as if I were stupid or something. I didn't want Fredo to think I was misusing the forum. I genuinely had a question. The phrase in reply #18 "I mean, really" is indicating that I asked a stupid question. You really shouldn't take what one person said so personally. I'm sure your question is legit and Fredo doesn't mind just as many who posted. Unfortunately as I have perused what everyone said you have been giving different opinions about each. Did I miss what you stated was wrong?

No, you didn't. I was only elaborating on what happened to me at Parkridge. My problem with Erlanger was they failed to keep my records private. I was only posting what happened to me as my opinions. I take the advice and appreciate the advice, and will use Memorial next time.
I have gone in and deleted my question and most of my comments now.

Whoa, horsey. Don't go doing all that. This really is a great forum. I think some of us fail to remember that the new folks don't always know how we are. I don't think she was trying to be mean. I think she was genuinely wanting to know why you asked when it seemed like you had already narrowed down your choices, leaving only one hospital that would suffice for your problem. To be honest, there are other hospitals that we tend to forget about...like Parkridge, Eastridge, Hutcheson, North Park, etc. so really, you had several choices. No one minded answering your question and we really hope you stay.

I have to chime in with K. Copper is so not like that, and I would bet that it was not intended the way that you seem to have taken it. I think she was just trying to figure it out and not trying to be mean.
I am not speaking for Copper, but from posts that I have seen, she is a nice, level-headed poster that does not seem to get into arguments just for the sake of an argument.
They way I read it, it seemed like she was just curious and that was all. Give the board another shot, it can be fun.

I didn't want Fredo to think I was misusing the forum. I genuinely had a question. Don't worry. I'm not shy about telling people when they're screwing up. Ask anyone. ;D

Again, thanks to all who answered my question. Sorry I've offended some with my question. You see, I don't know all the hospitals in the area; therefore I asked a question. Not to worry - I won't ask anymore. It's a shame; I try to use a discussion board and someone lets me know I'm just a stupid idiot who is welcome no where. Okay, I've PM'd you. But for the record, no offense was taken by your question. No offense was intended by my question. It was simply something that occurred to me as I washed my hair (sometimes things sort differently in my head while performing this task - I'm weird that way, I sort out SQL questions this way, too). Asking a question, whether or not we've answered it for ourselves, is not a misuse of this board. It'd be a pretty empty place if that were the case. I apologize if I offended you. Again, not my intention. This is one of the challenges of the web & interpreting the writer's intentions when you do not know him in real life. shalom

The phrase in reply #18 "I mean, really" is indicating that I asked a stupid question. No, I wasn't trying to indicate that you asked a stupid question. It's simply how I chose to phrase my response...which apparently wasn't the best choice, as I offended you. Again, my apologies.
