No telling what is going happen up there in those Bledsoe County hills. It may have been preying on livestock which ticked off the shooter.
I hate to say it but sooner or later the eagles and hawks are going to take over the sky around here. I live downtown and often see predatory birds attack pigeons.

a) Seems to me it is quite unpatriotic and anti-American to kill the symbol of the United States of America.
b) Pigeons are quite tasty when prepared properly.

The symbolic state bird for Tennessee? ;D I would not eat a mocking bird (unless I was about to starve to death). I have eaten pigeon (squab) & dove. Quite good. BTW, pigeon is classified in the dove family. Technically pigeons are "rock doves".
