Did any of you catch your man of reason, Cosby, commenting on Donald Trump's pondering a run for President? He said of Trump, and I quote: "The only thing he has running is his mouth", LOLs!! And now The Donald™ is engulfed in flames and launching a full-fledged counter attack our our hero. Cracks me up.
Google for video and more details!!

I am curious though... how exactly did Cosby become OUR "man of reason" and OUR "hero"? His outspoken opinions on young folks in general and young black folks in particular. Many kudos have been showered upon Cosby here on these boards in this company over the years.

That makes him right occasionally, not a "hero", nor a chosen "man of reason".
That would be like saying that just because you agree with something someone other than a liberal said, that you are no longer a liberal, and we KNOW you haven't gotten THAT much smarter... ;-)

You are arguing for the sake of arguing?

He stands up to his entire race and tells them how it is.
PULL YOUR PANTS UP GET AN EDUCATION LOSE THE EBONICS QUIT HOLDING UP CRIMINALS AS YOUR IDOLS
Looks kinda heroic to me.

No. I am simply stating that speeches do not make heroes, actions do. There are probably people on this very forum that would possibly disagree with what Mr. Cosby has said, Therefore, " our hero" is a misnomer. I do admire Bill Cosby and think that if the black community would look more in the directions he speaks of and less in the direction of seeking some sort entitlement or turning to crime, they would be a lot better off. I will now await your "You're a racist" type reply.

There are probably people on this very forum that would possibly disagree with what Mr. Cosby has said, Therefore, " our hero" is a misnomer. I do not recall a single person on this very forum that disagreed with what Mr. Cosby had said. Additionally, just the fact that he DID say it out loud to his people is heroic enough of an action to count. JMHO so disagree all you wish.
However, if turnabout is fair play, then let it be known that your statement of "speeches do not make heros" can certainly be applied today to The Donald™.

Indeed they can. I will not disagree with that at all. And you have obviously misinterpreted my post. My saying that Cosby was not "our hero" had absolutely nothing to do with Trump. To assume that just because I disagree with something you said concerning one person puts me in the corner of the other is inaccurate.

I never said it did. I simply made a statement on the other man.
