I like Mitt, but the whole MA health care thing is going to be difficult for him to explain. He can do it, but it takes about ten minutes and the voting public doesn't have that kind of attention span.

Romney is going to have a tough time against Herman Cain who scored big in the debate.
Rightwingers are calling Romney 'McCain II' and a RINO.
I predict if the GOP nominates another RINO for 2012 that there will be a big push for a third party, grown out of the Tea Party, for the next elections. Traditional conservatives are fed up with the GOP establishment.
Are there enough traditional conservative voters left to make a third party viable, that is the question for me.

I predict the GOP is more divided than the Dems and with this Obama being able to lay claim to Osamas demise Obama will win no matter who runs against him. A recent poll might indicate precisely that.......

Money can win campaigns....but not for this guy IMO.
"Mitt Romney hit the jackpot in Las Vegas on Monday, raising more than $10 million for his presidential bid in a one-day call-a-thon that offered the clearest evidence yet that the former Massachusetts governor will have more money to spend on the Republican presidential nomination than any of his rivals."

Don't forget the man has his own money! He pumped in more than $40 mil in his last go around. If the GOP pumps him up with more it will be a big waste.

We have to give someone new a chance to lead. The law allows for no more that 8 years.

The GOP will NOT win this go round because IMO they are much further split than the dems. And here is another good example.....

Yeah, I think the only good way out for the GOP this time 'round will be if they nominate the Tea Party person....whoever that turns out to be. And I don't think it's going to be Mitt. I personally thought they would have won last time 'round with Mitt at the top, and even with Palin as VP. Don't think that will work this time. I'm still not on board with anybody.....
.....except whoever is against Obama!!!!!!

They really are making a big deal out of Romney's $10k bet offer. I really can't see why anyone would make much out of it. It's not like we thought Mitt was poor.

It's a lot of money to an average person but to a guy that's worth hundreds of millions it's like betting fifty bucks. I just don't see how that makes him any more out of touch than any of the other millionaires up there.
