Why? He's a non-issue provided the appropriate opponents are chosen.

President Barack Obama raised a combined $86 million for his re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee in the second quarter, outpacing Republican fund-raising leader Mitt Romney and likely bringing in more than all GOP challengers combined.

There's a basic flaw in any system that requires a billion dollars in expenditures to get elected to a $250k job. How can we ever expect our elected officials to govern honestly under those conditions?

Obama leads in fundraising from Hamilton County donorsThe presidential candidate who has collected the most individual donations from Hamilton County this year is the president himself. "I'm not going to say I've liked the way he's done everything, but I'm a Democrat," said Nancy Phillips, a Hixson retiree who donated $300 to the president. "I can't imagine voting for any of the Republican candidates." But the collective Republican field has outraised President Barack Obama $37,723 to $23,929 this year in the county, records show. Of 10 Republican candidates, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney collected the most local money. He reported $16,745 between Jan. 1 and Sept. 30, the last day for which fundraising information is available. timesfreepress.com/news/2011/nov/07/obama-leads-in-fundraising-from-hamilton/

Sadly the fact that he has a (D) beside his name seems to be all it takes for some to willingly ignore his utterly abysmal lack of ability and common sense to this point.
Sort of a sad commentary when all that can be said about the twit on the positive side is that he has raised money for his own campaign… And just how rapidly people are willing to forget how much money so many have lost to this point because of him…
4 More years… because it was all Bush's fault, and the Arab Spring, and Republicans blocking his bills, and the Tea Party, and that pesky Constitution thing…
Seems like every single day there is at least one or two people that are all too happy to stick hot pokers in their eyes and forgive his every GIGANTIC mistake… because after all… the other guy did the same thing right, so that makes his even more heinous mistakes okay and worthy of more time in the center seat. Even if the mistakes are the same ones made by the one he replaced, all because of a (D).

The weirdest part is that the GOP candidate will usually get the most donations. This is a solidly red city. It seems to me that our community is as much on the fence as the rest of the country when it comes to this election cycle. The collective totals show that to be true. I imaging this county will stand behind Romney, based on these numbers.

There is not a GOP candidate yet. Nope, not yet and I'm only supportive of one of the runners up. Meanwhile, life goes on.

The Obama/Clinton ticket has been raised again. It's probably go over better than Obama/Biden but I just don't think the dude has a death wish. With that heifer in the VP spot you could time his life expectancy with a stopwatch.
