I watched most of it and I gladly contributed $25 to RP to push him to the million $ mark last night. ;D Of course Fox fawned all over Cain. One has to remember that many of the GOP "all stars" snubbed this debate. BTW this was not a debate but a question answer period done by Faux! Oh Wallace "get your marching orders from Al Qaeda" tried to nail Ron Paul on social issues and he made Wallace look like the douche he is ...............
and why am I not surprised that Faux took down their poll that as of last night showed RP winning it by a landslide! LMAO! Anyways Pawlenty and Santorium made me want to fall asleep!

I think the RP followers piled in not wanting him to fall by the wayside like last time. He feels, and rightly so, that his message about the Fed. etc has been vindicated.....and is more accepted now.
From what I've been reading this morning rightwingers really liked Cain but strained unwillingly to give RP some kudos. Saw a lot of Cain Pres./Paul VP calls.

I'm not a fan of Cains since I don't like the flat or fair tax. But your right because there were many RP fans in attendance. I've heard that Reuters, Associated Press and some others didn't even bother to report on this. Personally I think the establisment wants Romney and this might explain why this debate was considered a non event. Hopefully Romney made a bad decision by passing this one up. Oh wait a minute I take that back Reuters did and look what they had to say............ And why the hell would they be known or unknown? Duh! What dumbasses!

If he can continue speaking that succinctly on issues about freedom and personal responsibility he'll have a much better chance. It's when he goes off on tangents about the fed and Iran in '53 that he loses people. That's was more marketable than I've ever seen him.

On paper he makes so much sense but his persona is off putting at times. His clothes always look ill fitted too. Should he make the ticket they'll shine him up for the cameras.

Raph, what's your beef with the Fair Tax? Love IRS too much? Sounds great on paper but it would start out just like the income tax which back in the day was sold to the public that it would just be on the rich and be around 2%. A fair tax today at whatever % could be changed at politicians whims. Now I'd be inclined to support something like a 10% amendment tax budget where the government could only take 10% and no more ever!
