I just don't get this. I understand he has spina bifida, and I guess I am just ignorant about it, as I just cannot fathom how this guy had absolutely no clue. My mind wants to think that there is more to this, like he was passed out on meds, or alcohol or drugs, or something like that. Can somebody explain it to me? If you are not grossed out, look at photo #2, it shows the chewed off toes. www.newschannel9.com/news/chews-1002565-foot-rodent.html

His wife or girlfriend or whatever said he has no feeling in his toes and that whatever chewed them off came through an open window because their AC unit was down. Now that's some real bizarre stuff right there!

Now that's some real bizarre stuff right there! Yeah, I know that is what they said.... But really? I mean, don't you think - while some critter is eating 3 of your toes - something, something at all might wake you up? I mean, I don't know, how long does it take for a critter to eat 3 toes? If it were a few seconds, I guess I could see that. And would the critter be totally silent? Dude is not deaf. I am just totally dumbfounded by this. Maybe I am overthinking it, but it just does not seem very plausible. You are right, totally bizarre.

spina bifida causes some paralysis... :-\ / I understand that. I just cannot imagine that there were no noises, something, that would wake the guy up. They said he cannot feel his legs, I get that. I would just think, a rodent eating your toes, there HAS to be something, noises, movements, that would wake you up. I don't know, it is just so weird to me.

Ah, Gus. I had forgotten about that. It is so appropriate in this case.

I guess. Like I said, I suppose I am just overthinking it.
