To keep a hundred things from ending up in one continous thread, if you have questions or FYIs, etc..start a new thread. This way people can visit the ones they care about and get straight to an answer. Try to have the problem or FYI type in the title of the thread to help out if someone comes searching.
Thanks!

Then I would suggest if they all pertain to the same thing, you use a title such as "wireless, and its many problems" Or "DVDs/burning/best"

What's up with the other 'Q&A Board' thread? It appears closed to further participation. Or is this why this one got started?
Just curious.
Anyway, I wanted to add my two cents worth on the burned DVD issues. I have experienced a variety of playability issues that have also affected original disks, even within the disks of a set. For example, one player played all of the disks of The West Wing without any problems, except one. It just kept displaying 'Bad Disk' messages, yet that disk played fine in every other player in the house. These were brand new disks, played their first time. I don't ask why anymore.
As for 'back-up copies', 'my little friend' has used CloneDVD software with excellent success. One can choose from three different burn engines and burn to DL or regular DVDs. He tells me that you can download the software for an unrestricted 15 day free trial. A quick Google search will turn up their site.
