Mailmen afraid to deliver the mailWho wants to bet that these poor pitiful residents are also adamant about refusing to report crimes or testify against criminals in their 'hood? If ever fiction were to come alive, it would be right here where people refuse to contribute to the solution and still demand to be delivered services.

Maybe the USPS could borrow some of those urban armored vehicles from DHS to make the deliveries.
And then, they could update the inscription chiseled into their national landmark to read 'Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail of bullets shall keep these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.'
Am I allowed to say that?
