I keep hearing a lot about how they have sleeper cells everywhere and they're just waiting to pounce. If they were so ready, wouldn't it be a good idea to send a three man fire team into Baltimore right now? They could absolutely turn the region upside down.
Or maybe that's all just bullshit designed to get more funding for DHS. Just a thought.

They're still sleeping.
I expect that they will act on their own timeline and at a place of their choosing. Baltimore is too thick with police and guard to be an easy soft target.
Besides, Baltimore is part of the 'fundamental transformation' the POS in the WH promised and now unfolding before your very eyes.

It looks like Texas wasn't such a good idea either.

Geert Wilders has a bull's eye on his back as does Pamela Geller. Prime targets for the throat-cutters who'd crawl out of their holes no matter where they'd show up.
These two drove in from Phoenix. Had they been successful, they'd be jihadi heroes. Songs would be written about them and sung at bonfires around the world as infidels are thrown into the flames.
Wilders and Geller have been enormously effective at calling out the jihadis.
Their security detail was also very effective at taking the perps out as soon as they exited their car. Initially there was little info on who actually took them out, then I read that a 60 year-old LEO used his pistol to take them both out with head shots. I suppose that's possible, but is that how cops are usually trained? Sounds more like SWAT.
Makes me wonder if they didn't have overwatch and some well placed shooters waiting for trouble to show up.
I think that the Wilders/Geller show should be taken on the road to play small towns and cities coast-to-coast.
Like moths drawn to the blue light.
Chris Matthews called it a mouse trap. Either way sounds good to me.

Here's a tidbit that could suggest an operation was undertaken to stop the two terrorists when they reached the free speech event. Not surprised that the locals or the organizers would be kept out of the loop, if such an operation in fact took place. Gateway Pundit link

Funny thing about the reporting on this. When dude shot up the theater in Colorado, the news went on and on about his weapons and body armour. The even went so far as to include several web sites from which it could be purchased. Fast forward to two dimwitted barbarians trying something similar and you can't find any description of their equipment anywhere. Nothing on weapons other than to say "assault weapons" and "body armour".

Bingo!
There's nothing quite 'normal' about this event.
With the least amount of information provided, the fewer the questions that need to be answered and explanations given.
Don't get me wrong though. It's not that I'm concerned about the outcome nor the means by which it was accomplished.
I'd just like there to be credit given where credit is due.
Perhaps in time, when the songs are written.

"Police now say a SWAT team, not a single traffic cop, killed the gunmen at Muhammad cartoon event" The story now more closely resembles the details as we know them. Washington Post link

That makes a ton more sense. First cop wounded them and the swat boys finished up. I still haven't seen any of the normal nonsense about the evil bushmaster that can be bought at any convenience store for $20.
