I wanted to eat there the last time I was in town, but didn't get a chance, so I made sure I made time for this past weekend! Next time, I'm just going to skip the burgers and go directly to the fries ... God, they were wonderful. I LOVE peanut oil for frying potatoes!

CoN, boardwalk cooked thier fries in lard not peanut oil. They used to be at Hamilton place mall and it was lard not peanut oil.

i don't mean "boardwalk fries" the mall place.
i mean fries from real fry places on the real boardwalks on the atlantic seaboard. these are cooked in peanut oil and served with options such as cheese or cidar vinegar.
MMMMmmm... Thrasher's Fries of Ocean City MD

sounds to me like "boardwalk fries" aren't boardwalk fries. if it's lard then, hey.... they're not doing it right, ya know.

Big surprise that KKKoaster would be incorrect in his assessment. From the Boardwalk Fries Corporate Site: www.boardwalkfries.com/menu.html"Nationally known fries cooked in 100% peanut oil to perfection, served crispy, hot and full of taste." Boardwalk Fries was my first assessment as well ... I grew up loving the location at Hamilton Place ... My grandmother would take me there JUST for Boardwalk Fries.

Whim, they used to cook their fries in lard and that was more than a decade ago. Since Boardwalk has pulled out of Chattanooga around 15 years ago.

They served them in peanut oil then as well ... I trust a woman who has been cooking for the past 55 years ...

Ate there last Thursday. It was the greasiest burger and fries I have ever eaten. And a tad expensive for burger and fries.

Ate there Saturday. Second time to eat there and it was good but I agree a little expensive for burger and fries, around $16.00 for two burgers, one fries and two drinks. Armando's has the best burgers and fries. My husband and I can eat there for around $11.00 for the same thing.

Their hot dogs are WONDERFUL!!!! BACON CHEESE DOG!!!!! OMG!!!!! They are a little expensive for me, but it's kinda like a Krystal....when you gotta have one, you gotta have one!!!!! The secret is to order small everything (fries, burger, drink). They give you more than enough fries in a small for two people or more.

And I thought this was a joke like how many pollocks does it take to screw in a light bulb. If it takes 5 guys to make my burger and fries then I ain't eating there.
