Went there this past Friday night. Considering the food, the pricing is dead on. NOT that I can afford to do that more than once a year. geeeshhh.
But the food is EXCELLENT. I would suggest , with the prices and such, if you go to the meeting place, you have to get a variety of the meats and cheeses. YUM. Felt like I was in Europe again. The blue cheese dip and chips were great also. The restaurant is priced even higher, so be prepared. I think they are online and you can check out the menu and prices. Also, I believe most everything they use on the menu as entrees are all made from locally grown veggies, etc.
really nice, once a year place.

We love St. Johns. Despite the fact that there is rarely anything vegetarian on the menu, the chef always makes something special for Mrs Fredo.
One recommendation is to plan on spending the evening. Relax and have a cocktail before dinner. Get an appetizer and a bottle of wine. They do fish exceedingly well, and make their own sorbet for dessert. DO NOT look at the prices. Go when you've just gotten a bonus or something and make an evening of the place. It will be totally worth it.

Went to a party for @ 50 people in the upstairs section of St. Johns recently; the best dining experience in Chattanooga for my money -- wonderful crab & scallop horderves served on spoons, great wine, wonderful 1st courses & great entrée selections perfectly (well, nothing's perfect but this was close) prepared to everyone's taste & the best waitstaff bar none. I will be back on a regular basis....

Love St. John's - both of them! Can't wait until he opens his new Italian restaurant.

Don't be jealous but I go to St. Johns at least once a week (free for work) and hate it. I do not eat seafood, lamb, etc. A steak is ordered PLAIN for me. But excellent Cosmo.
