The most recent restaurant opening in the Bignana family is Shadowlady Bistro, located in a new building in Soddy Daisy. There is a deck that I'm sure will be quite enjoyable when warm weather finds its way back. The restaurant is very nice inside. The landscape needs some work. On the menu for tonight was Chicken Casserole and rice. The Casserole was very delicious over the rice. Shadowlady Bistro also had dessert, Louisiana Crunch Cake. Some of the staff at the Bistro could be a little more entertaining. Shadowlady's partner was too busy playing Guitar Hero III and some other video game until the meal was served. I guess his mother did not raise him well. But all in all it was a very delightful evening. I would recommend this Bistro but they are only open and different times and different days. Janet Wilson on Chattanoogan. com ain't got nothing on me!!!

I still say the whole affair needed a big skillet of nana's homemade buttermilk cornbread.
