Split from: Cookwareme too, coffee... for the most part. I don't know when it started but I've developed an aversion to cooking. Being from a big family it seems like I cooked and washed dishes over half my life! That and it is the easiest way to keep the weight off since I can't run or take walks anymore. There are definite advantages to cooking at home and with the some of the technology now available, a fresh cooked meal can be had in under an hour. Our kitchen has turned into a gathering place for everyone and I try to involve my seven year old as much as possible in meal preparation. This has led to her making better meal choices at school because she now understands the nutritional value, or lack thereof, of certain foods. To me, it's a win / win situation. I'll try to post some more time / non-cooking friendly recipes in the future.
