anybody know a good plumber?
fredo, if i've put this in the wrong place, please move it. this isn't a "do-it-yourself" type request, so i understand if it doesn't go here. however, i've got a drip in the wall and i need to take care of it!

I PM you the number of the guy I use for small stuff. He's an older guy doing a little retirement work, so he doesn't mind fixing a little leak.

Just checking. We often see mysterious leaks suddenly appearing in tile showers when the grout starts to crack. Thos little cracks can ba awfully tough to find sometimes. If this is not a one piece shower, you should check any joints and make sure they are sealed before cracking open the wall.
If this is only happening when the shower is in use, it has to be either a leak from inside the shower or in the drain line. If it were a supply side problem, it would leak all the time.

I need someone that does plumbing too and I have a big job. Know anybody who can replace the pipe from my house to the street?

fredo, i don't think i ever told you how it went with the plumber you recommended. it turned out that my problem wasn't really a big problem. however, he came out and took a look at things and set my mind at ease. he was very nice and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. thanks for recommending him.

De Nada.
He does a lot of small jobs for me. My regular plumber doesn't want to bother with putting in a faucet or unclogging a drain.
