I'm in the market for an ISP that doesn't require a landline. Anyone with an idea or two?

One of my clients has DSL and it is only a tad bit slower than broadband.
I had a long and arduous problem with Comcast. They either could not or would not get my billing in order. Finally, last week when they agreed to give me $50 a month off of my current service for 12 months. We'll use them for at least 12 more months.

If you call the retention department at Comcast and tell them you are thinking of changing your internet they will give you a discount for twelve months. I called last year in August and they dropped my internet to $19.99 for a year. I will call again this year and do it again. They don't want to lose they customers. It is cheaper to give you a discount than get new customers.
