Yes I am old. My kids are grown, thank you Lord!!! I have two really good kids. I don't know how they turned out so good. But I have lots of memories, good and bad, that I would not take anything for. Now I get to see some of the same actions from the most wonderful grandson in the world. Pay backs are hell.

My father said the same thing. (paybacks) I think Grandparents get the best of both worlds. I know a few couples, that after the kids moved out of the house.. they divorced. Sighting, they had nothing in common. It's like when the kids first come along you still remember what life was like before them, and looong for the days. But then when the day does come, you dont know what to do without them. Although, you dont sound as if your having any problems adjusting to the lost/found freedom. ;D I hope I dont either.
