For real! And it's supposed to make your child geniuses. Jeez ladies guess you just didn't know that. I agree that nothing can compare to the rich nutrients of breast milk, but to have a kid that big suck on your tit is just wrong. Doesn't the mother believe in a breast pump? She can express the milk out herself, give the kid a glass of it for Pete's sake! The kid still gets the benefits of the rich nutrients. Those kids are WAY too old to be sucking on a tit. I wonder if dear old dad likes it during lovemaking that he can cop a drink as well.

No, no, no! This one's out there. More ammo for the non-breastfeeding crowd. This child is no longer doing this for nutrition but out of habit. A habit that should've stopped long ago.
GRRRRR!

I used to watch a child that was on the tit until he was 4 and I thought that was extreme. Eight years old is ridiculous. I mean, think about it, he's probably tall enough to ride the damn roller coaster at Lake Winnie!
I agree with Angel. If the milk is THAT important, then he could drink it out of a cup. I've read where doctors debate the benefits of breast milk now days. Apparently, they have nearly perfected formulas to compare pretty equally to breast milk. I dunno know...

I've heard they have perfected formulas to equal breast milk too. They say there is a bond there between mother and baby, but personally at this age it's ridiculous. Can you imagine the ribbing the kids would get at school if it ever got out they were still being breastfed?! I agree with Raphael, watching the video I couldn't help but feel an element of incestuous ties there. Maybe it's just me and I've been watching too much tv. My God, her breasts must be sore! After all those years!

Can you throw um' o'er shoulder ... Like a' continental solders? ;D ----------------------------------------------------------------Soar boobies?... try callused. ;D This is not for the child but a mother who --Can Not Let Go. She's the one hanging on. She could pump that stuff in a cup. This borders mental abuse, IMO. I bet he doesn't have many sleepovers. (poor kid) 502Blue: Maybe the third world or Asian countries probably nurse up until puberty hits or the food rations comes in....maybe it's not by choice but more of a "starvation thing". Dont know.. just a thought.

For real! And it's supposed to make your child geniuses. Jeez ladies guess you just didn't know that. I really support this type of feeding and will fight for a female's right to do so any place and at any time , but at 8...get that lady some help. My children fed for about 18 months and it has paid off big time.

Any place , any time? So you think it's appropriate for a woman to just flop one out in the middle of a restaurant, airport or school play?
I'm sure it's a good idea and it's almost undeniably the best thing for a baby, but decorum should limit the time and place it's employed.

Shoot - when its time to eat... its time to eat.

But a woman can get up and go do it in private. I guess so Nana... but thats a double standard is it not? I mean, we can't go out anywhere in public without seeing at least one set of jugs bouncing around here or there. Falling, even purposely pushed.. out of tops. So whats the big deal about seeing a woman, a mother feeding her child. It's natural. Unless the baby is the size of that kid in the video. Then that would be a good time to hide out in bathroom or car. LMAO! I thought thats what breasts were there for originally. (to feed) Eyes or babies, I really dont care which.. But babies being more appropriate IMO. ;D

Why can't a woman discretely breastfeed her infant in public? I am so modest as to be called prudish. Yet I found it quite easy to nurse my daughter in a restaurant with a receiving blanket thrown over my shoulder. Despite my overabundance (at that time) of cleavage, nothing was revealed to other customers...just my daughter.
If we can handle the vision of breasts bouncing around barely restrained by clothing in public on a daily basis, why in the world can we not tolerate the view of a woman breastfeeding in public? (which, by the way is what those wonderful breasts were created to do in the first place)
Puhleeze. Nursing infants in public is not some nasty activity to be relegated to a public bathroom teeming with bacteria. Would anyone tell a mom to go to her own bathroom in her home to nurse her baby? I think not. It would be considered unhygienic, at the very least. Why, then would we even propose sending a nursing mother & infant to a public restroom for the very same activity? Send them out to the car...in hot, rainy or cold weather? Yeah, right, there's a sure way to increase business. Then customers will start complaining about the mothers nursing in cars. Can't let those lactating ladies out for a minute, you know.
Hogwash. Breasts aren't just eye candy for adult males.

If it is done as you have described, I have no problem with it. I agree. But I have seen women not do it discreetly. Those are the ones I was referring to. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I should have made myself clearer.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I should have made myself clearer. BINGO! Discretely is fine. Having your entire tit hang out to where I see a nipple is ridiculous. I've seen women do this and I think they do it for attention. I know a chick that did it once on a dock full of men. She had no problem flopping them things out anytime she had a beer or two, before the baby, so it wasn't a surprise. Yes, breasts are a natural thing. So is a clitoris. Doesn't mean I want to see that thing peeking out in public either. It's natural alright, but certainly not necessary. C'mon guys, we aren't poor Indian tribes. We don't wear fig leaves and crap. Breastfeeding is perfectly acceptable while using a receiving blanket.

Okay that settles it! Women can not only be free to not wear bras but can also go topless anytime they choose. I vote yes! And don't call me a boob! ;D

I only suggested the bathroom or car... if your kid was the same age as that one in the video. Personally -- I've not seen a crude breast feeder in public or private. Couldnt tell ya what one looked like. (ha ha!) I'm modest myself.. I didn't breastfeed in public (period) .. not so much of the modesty issue, but I had a problem with not wanting my babies around a bunch of germs from strangers in a crowd setting. My mother was breathing down my neck ... do this , do that.. dont dont dont. LOL 0-3mos was with family and friends only.. and a nice bottle of antibacterial foam. hee hee
