I recently noticed that a portion of my front door unit seems to be rotting. I have a double sidelight unit w/ a transom. The damage appears to be limited to one of the mulls. My insurance will cover the removal, repair and re-installation of the unit. However, I believe their estimated cost is quite low.
Anyway, does anyone have a recommendation on who could do this for me? I don't want to just hire any old handyman, as I know that it's easy to insall a door incorrectly. Any suggestions? Fredo?

If Fredo doesn't have time I have a door guy that I plan to use again. (Fredo installed some windows for me that are doing great.) We had a guy in East Ridge do some door work for us. www.cornerstoneconstruction.biz/He was professional and prompt. He also has a guy who specializes in doors.

If coffeeshooter likes this guy, I think you could trust her opinion. I don't know him, but she knows what good work looks like. If he doesn't work out, let me know and I can refer you to someone else.
