It was a busy night, had alot going on, so KFC was brought in! They do make good chicken. I do make some kick ass "aunt Beas" (from Andy Griffin show) fried chicken. The trick is to double coat it, then you get crispy. YUMMMY! I understand completely. I've been known to pick up dinner now and then instead of cooking it. Damn! Your chicken sounds delicious! Someday I'd like to try your kick ass chicken 502blue. My specialty is melt-in-your-mouth steak and roast beef. That sounds like trade we need to do! I've always wanted to go to Canada! And my kids are just old enough for me to do this without feeling guilty of leaving them behind, haha. Now , if work would just slowww down for a brief second! Actually, one of my secret ingredients is Mortons Nature's Seasons Seasoning blend...http://www.mortonsalt.com/products/foodsalts/Nature_blend_kk.htm Which reminds me Dire, came across this, since you love spices and such :http://www.diabetesselfmanagement.com/recipes/Sauces_Relishes/Salt_free_seasoning_blend

Ha... I've had better, but it wasn't too bad. The bread doesn't lend itself well to the "grilling" part though.

Be careful concerning thinking about me and feeling guilty. Waltz, you were right... I had forgotten about the plastic cheese. Today was better though. Today I had a tuna salad sandwich. I also made me a batch of quick pickles.

Today was an interesting lunch... I met Rice for lunch at the New China Buffet over on Signal Mtn. Blvd. Funny thing... we got there were going through the buffet and just about the time the plates got full all the bigwigs from the Sheriff's office walked in. There were about 10 of them there to have a lunch meeting. I met the Sheriff and spoke briefly with the Chief, whom I have met before. About half way through lunch, we had sporatic visits at our table from all but about two of them. Their food is much better when it's HOT... so we had to go back like 3 times to get hot food when ours was getting cold when we were being polite! ;D We had a good lunch though. They have a mongolian grill that is good too along with sushi.
