Okay, does your family have rules about what your child may view on You Tube? How do you monitor this?
I ask because my pre-teen & many of her friends have viewed "Charlie the Unicorn" on You Tube. It's a strangely warped but amusing video...nothing bad, per se. My child mentioned that she viewed other videos unsupervised while visiting at her grandparents' house after she viewed the first one.
We now have a rule that an adult must be present when she watches You Tube. I just think that there's too much stuff out there that would be inappropriate for preteens.

There's alot out there inappropriate for me!!!!!
I never set rules, I just let them use their judgement. When I do notice they had "looked up" certain things I didn't approve of, I explained why, and then let them know I had a key logger and no where they wandered on the web wasn't known to me. I also flag items I come across on youtube that aren't suppose to be there.
