Okay I got some serious malware last week and I thought my wife had it all cleaned up. We still have some minor issues when you first turn on the computer but ever since then my keyboard is skipping letters. Is my keyboard bad? And no jokes or old age!!!!

do you eat cheetos while you surf...?
seriously... do you have some canned air...?
turn it upside down and spray between the keys to see what comes out of it.

I never knew I was such a pig. All kinds of nasty crud came out of it. Even a staple. I will check out how it's doing. I wonder if all that crud may have ruined my keyboard?

eww, yes, lots of stuff can get into your keyboard, usually not ruin it though. Sounds like the keyboard got "customized", you need to reset the keyboard to default. Sometimes with keyboards that can be customized, users accidentally can set them to do different things. Go to the settings and do a reset, can't hurt it. Also, new keyboards with the usb plugs on them are pretty inexpensive, might want to check those out

i doubt he could have "customized" his keyboard without knowing it... wouldn't one have to go into the control panel and bring up the keyboard options to do that...?
i think he'd have seen this window, if he could even have accidently gotten there.

Alot of keyboards have "anon" settings. You can click alt/control/and instead of delete, hit a different key by accident and set it to custom.............it's easier than you think.
