I dont know about the rest of you guys.. but my mother is forever buying me the "as seen on TV" stuff junk. (mostly) Go ahead, color me terrible cause I usually end up re-gifting it out to the kid's teachers for teachers appreciation week. Waste not want not. right? LMAo!! ;D Anyway --- This time she's shamwow'ed me with a Chinese bamboo cutting board with the cutest little knife set. I'd really like to make use of this board but I'm not sure on what to do with the knives. Has anyone on this board used this particular kind of knife set? ... and for what. LMAo! The blade are on the sides (minus the "shovel like knife") and they basically fit in the palm of your hands. When holding they do not extend out past the fingers tips. Lawd knows.. I need my finger tips. Any suggestions would be helpful. Here's a pic of the exact one I have.

That's a cheese cutting set. You cut the cheese on the cutting board with those knives.

I think the box has a typo written on it. It should read cheese cutting board and chef's knife set. Not Chinese...... Here is a similar one sold at Barnes & Noble:
