Are they healthy? Some say that eggs are bad because they cause high cholesterol. Dr. Mercola seems to say otherwise and I agree with his take....... Eggs are one of the healthiest foods you can eat, and it's a shame they've been vilified for so long in the United States. As a result, egg consumption has been going down for the last 40 years, all because of concerns about cholesterol.
But the idea that eggs are unhealthy is a complete myth, one that's easily debunked if you look at the evidence.
In this latest study, researchers identified several different peptides in eggs that act as potent ACE inhibitors, which are drugs used to lower high blood pressure. This means they may actually lower your risk of heart disease, not raise it as health officials like to say they do.
One particularly skewed belief is that eggs are bad for your heart; however, eating eggs on a daily basis may prove to hold numerous health benefits, especially a decreased risk of heart disease. articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/03/10/The-Sunny-Side-of-Eggs.aspx

I always agree with which ever doctor tells me what I want to hear. ;D
I say as long as you don't over do it, eggs won't kill you. One or two a day.

I love deviled eggs but cannot eat egg salad. And I really don't see any difference. Crazy huh?

I love deviled eggs but cannot eat egg salad. And I really don't see any difference. Crazy huh? It's my favorite for a picnic at the house. The boys aren't real crazy about it so I always end up making chicken salad for them. I am an egg freak! ;D

If you think you're going to make a gorgeous fluffy omelet for someone only to f**k it up, you then quickly refer to it as a "frittata"! ;D

The first thing I learned to cook was what my Granny called " Nest Eggs " or " Toad in the Hole " to most people. So yummy! My son is now the " Nest Egg " expert...every now and then I can bribe him into making an extra one for me!
