Anybody ever heard of this stuff and the story behind it? Yes, even I'm skeptical about snake oil because I know a lot of it exists. Maybe it's because I don't trust the Medical Industrial Complex and believe they can and would supress cheap cures. This one is making a lot of claims with a lot of supposed testimonials from what I've studied. It makes sense to me how and why this stuff would work since it has many uses that kill all sorts of pathogens outside of the body. But inside? Recently the FDA said they were going to go after these types of products especially ones like this that say it will cure the swine flu. However one problem! The guy who devoloped MMS has given the ingredients and how to make it for yourself. I bet the FDA won't be able to put the genie back in the bottle if this stuff is for real. So in summary, MMS works to:
Kill anaerobic pathogens - those micro-organisms that enter and live in the body, thriving in the absence of oxygen, and take the form of harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungus, and toxic proteins, all of which cause many kinds of disease (often life-threatening) and other more common ailments. Eradicate body toxins, heavy metals and deadly infections. Boost the body's immune system so it can better work to rid the body of many forms of disease and common ailments.global-mms-orders.com/

Okay .. I'm a little familiar with minerals & herbal combos but.. what the hell is this? I watched the video (which was interesting yet not informational then visited the website to do a quick scan over in search of the root name of this miracle mineral. Pretty evasive if you ask me.
This may sound a little whacked but. LMAO! -- but I feel that there are basically 3 body types (maybe 4) when it comes to healing our physical selves. One type does well with minerals yet the others do not.. one type does better with conventional medicine or plants and the other type, well faith or mind over matter alone can work. A combination of all three gives us a far better hope in full recovery. (Just my opinion) If only western medicine were able to determine which type we were .. and treat accordingly but that ain't gonna happen when we're treated like cattle in regards to health. (what works for some people may NOT work for another)

Have you ordered any of it? No I haven't. I've studied both sides of this product. As usual something that's so controversial has two sides. Some are saying that this is actually killing all your good and bad bacteria and poisoning you. I'd like to see more studies on it before I would put it into my body. Just don't know? I will say that this is similar to the Italian doctor who proclaims that ordianry baking soda can shrink cancer and that cancer is a form of bad bacteria of some kind. I'm leery on this one. I'm sure the FDA will get a hold of this one eventually.

What specific mineral is this? Not a compound of chemicals reaction but what mineral? I'm really curious. LOL
BTW -- Oxford and Berkley have provided numerous documents and clinical trial studies that without a shadow of a doubt proves - the heat off of habanero (HoT) peppers reduce/shrinks and dissolves tumors in a relatively small amount of time. (all tumors) But is this on the front page of the news ... NO.
So after stumbling upon that little tid-bit of info... I started to research cancer by ethnicity. Guess what ethnic group rates lowest in regards to cancer in general. (BiNgO!) Back in March my mother was diagnosed with a rare type of terminal cancer (chemically induced from melting plastic bottles). Gosh .. I tried like hell to get my mother to eat a hot pepper sandwich daily to no avail.. even offered to eat them with her. So I can't speak of this in regards to experience but it's alternative info that should be passed along in the event that it might help another person suffering with that horrific DISease.

Interesting, keep me posted if you find any more info.

What specific mineral is this? Not a compound of chemicals reaction but what mineral? I'm really curious. LOL Sodium chlorite. It's actually known as chlorine dioxide but has nothing to do with chlorine. I'm not so sure why they call it a mineral when it appears to me to be more of a chemical. I'm agreeing with EM on this one. I can see how and why it would kill pathogens but you'd have to prove to me it's not also killing the good and if not, why not. Now these people selling this stuff do tell why but I'd like to see some hard scientific data to prove it and tests for that matter. I guess the thing that peaked my interest was and is the fact that Jim Humble gives out how to make it and anyone can make it and make it cheaply. A number of products are marketed as "stabilized chlorine dioxide" (SCD). Most of these solutions do not actually contain chlorine dioxide but consist of solutions of buffered sodium chlorite. A weak acid can be added to SCD to "activate" it and make chlorine dioxide in-situ without a chlorine dioxide generator. Stabilized chlorine dioxide is used as a broad spectrum disinfectant and anti-microbial[citation needed]; This form of chlorine dioxide is currently being used against bacterial and viral outbreaks including MRSA, Legionella, and Norovirus[citation needed]. The use of SCD is effective when the demand for chlorine dioxide is low and when impurities, such as small amounts of sodium, can be tolerated[citation needed]. For application requiring above 5 kg day−1 ClO2, chlorine dioxide produced by a generator with either sodium chlorite or sodium chlorate is typically more economical.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxide

There are web sites out there that show how to make thermite (http://www.ehow.com/how_2081916_make-thermite.html) or nitroglycerine (http://www.flashback.se/archive/NTROGLSN.TXT), too, but I don't think we want to go messing with that stuff either.

Except one is to blow things up and doesn't have testimonials that proclaim all kinds of miraculous healings. There's some people in Africa that swear by the stuff and how it cures malaria. I'd like to see more data on that one. Seems to me if his claim of 75,000 malaria cases were true that ALL these African countries would be jumping all over this. Heh! I just got a newsletter that said he can't be reached because he's in remote areas of Africa that have no internet hookups. How convenient! ;D
