a friend from another board took an excursion for breakfast... to a little place in arkansas that is famous for their giant biscuits... and he has kindly allowed me to share some of his pictures with y'all... just a little roadside joint: serving up breakfast numminess: to put size in perspective... here is he's buddy's hand next to one: don't you want some...? photos by Doc!!

Personally, i'm not a fan of the really oversized ones, but i'm not a really big eater.
I'll post pics of my next batch. making breakfast for the family is my weekend activity these days.

Personally, i'm not a fan of the really oversized ones, but i'm not a really big eater. I'll post pics of my next batch. making breakfast for the family is my weekend activity these days. Yeah we like to have breakfast for dinner. We call it Brinner. But yeah I go all out on my biscuits. several layers, fluffy. My dad used to make breakfast every Sunday morning. I mean huge. Almost everything you can think of. He would make the most yellow scrambled eggs. Light and fluffy. Bacon, sausage, ham...Huge pancakes or waffles. Biscuits and gravy. Oh man. Ice cold glass of milk to top it off.

I think those were called Cathead biscuits. They are great but....BIG!! Biscuits and gravy are hard to beat anytime!

A.J.'s biscuits near Athens, Ga! Just a little convenience store that serves meat & three, along with chicken fingers and various deli items...I think it's in Bogart or Watkinsville, Ga.The lady that owns the store is Fritzie Jackson and she is a marvelous cook!
