Hubby and I have been trying to eat at places we either have never eaten or have not been there in a good long while. I've discovered and rediscovered some good places. Anyone have some suggestions?

Memo's Grill on M.L. King? It really hops after midnight. Best chopped wiener plate in town!
Seriously, though, have you tried the Blue Orleans Seafood Restaurant on Market and Main? (not the one on Aminicola Hwy. It's good, but not as good as the one downtown)

Nikki's on Cherokee !! I miss my fried food days. I really do. I'll settle for Sluggo's Vegetarian Cafe though. For regular "eating out" we go to Mojo Burrito, Bluegrass Grill, Cancun Mexican, Taco Mac, Mudpie and a little place on Ringgold Road called Family Table. If I just want a waffle I'll stop in a Waffle House somewhere. familytablerestaurant.com/It used to be that we'd try not to go over $20 but now it is $30, including tip. Fine dining is something I rarely do with my hubby along. He tends to moan about the prices so I go with someone who I know will appreciate the experience. Crusty's on Broad Street has a cool atmosphere but ICK ..

A chopped wiener plate is chopped up barbecued hot dogs, served with two sides, usually baked beans and cole slaw. It's really very good.

Anyone tried Champys yet? I heard it was great. Also, at www.restaurant.com If you use the code PLATE, you will get 80% off the $25 gift certificates. (they go by locally, not alot of chattanooga ones, but there are some) Just an FYI with that website. Be SURE to read the conditions for using them at the local restaurants. Some of the conditions may be that you spend at least $30, or they add %20 tip, or alcohol not included, etc, etc. But still, paying 2 bucks for 25 bucks is really great.

Manlyman: I've been meaning to head over to Blue Orleans. If for nothing else than a po boy.... yummmmm...
Coffeeshooter: Mojo's has nothing on Moe's. Thought about Nikki's but when we head in that direction it's usually a Nabe's night, or the newly discovered Foodworks, must try everything else on that menu.
