Bought some from Wal Mart to try. Not a bad taste. Nutty for sure. High in vitamin E but it's sweetened with sugar. Have you tried some?

I use it regularly.
What brand did you buy?
Blue Diamond's brand is Almond breeze and it comes in plain, vanilla or chocolate and also in unsweetened versions of each.
I prefer the vanilla personally.

I prefer the vanilla personally. I bought the Silk brand. I'd like to be able to find some either sweetened with Stevia or unsweetened but I'd probably have to get it at a health food store and it would probably be well over the $3 I paid at Wally World. I like the fact that it's is "heart healthy" because it is high in vitamin E. Who carries the Blue Diamond brand and what is it sweetened by? Silk says theirs is sweetened with "natural evaporated cane sugar." Has 7g of sugar per 8 ozs. Oh yeah I bought the vanilla Silk brand and they do make chocolate as well.

I would have expected that you could get Almond Breeze at just about any supermarket. I found that the unsweetened versions were harder to find so when I did, I'd buy a bunch. It's been more commonly available recently. Here, it sells pretty typically for $2.50 a litre (slightly more than a quart) and $2 when on special. I've only seen it tetra packed, have not looked for the refrigerated versions. Check around for it you might be surprised. I'd doubt you'll find an almond milk already sweetened with stevia but you could add a stevia sweetener to an unsweetened almond milk yourself and suit to taste. The already sweetened Almond Breeze is sweetened with evaporated cane juice. Over the years I tried the soy milks and the rice milks and only came across the almond milk about 5 years ago. Tried it and liked it best of all of them. I also found a great deal of variation among the brands (soy and rice milks) in terms of texture and taste. Almond Breeze is the only brand of almond milk that I've seen here so I can't say how compares to any other.

Here it is around $3 for a half gallon or 1.89L. I haven't been looking for brand names so I don't know who sells what. I can say Bi Lo and Wal Mart carry Silk brands. I'm going to look around some and see if I can find the unsweetened brand. It mixes really good with whey protein and my whey is actually sweetened with stevia so the unsweetened would mix together well I would think.
Actually Jack I found the Blue Diamond Almond Breeze unsweetened at Bi Lo (so I would think Wally World would carry it as well. It was $2.79 for a half gallon or 1.89L and it is in a carton that needs to be refrigerated. I bought one and after I drink the sweetened I will let you know how this one taste.
