We had a Samsung fridge in our other house for several years and it always worked great. To me, they're really the most bang for your buck... until it comes time for the pro48, of course.

Is that the freezer on the bottom? If it is how do you like it? Looks cool.

Oddly enough, If you buy one of those tint chest freezers akin to those sold at WalMart, etc. , they have anywhere from 5 to 7 cu feet of storage. The freezer on our fridge has 8.2.

it's logical... why shouldn't the part that you are into the most be at eye-level...? not to mention that heat rises and cold settles low...

The other neat thing is the fact that it has two separate cooling systems. One that keeps the fridge humidity at 78%, and another that keeps the freezer humidity at 10%

The other neat thing is the fact that it has two separate cooling systems. One that keeps the fridge humidity at 78%, and another that keeps the freezer humidity at 10% Samsung is the only non built in fridge that I know of that uses dual evaporators. It will help your produce stay fresh much longer than any fridge short of the subzero. Our Samsung was known to keep shredded lettuce fresh for as long as two weeks.
