I'm fixing to grill some New York strip steaks with some baked potatoes. Yum Yum! Unless I forget them on the grille. Has been known to happen occasionally. ;D

ummm... grilled pork tenderloin marinated in soy sauce, orange juice, scallion, lime juice, ginger, and hell, can't remember the rest. Hubby grilled it to perfection though. Added in a baked tater on the side and salad. Oh yeah... save the marinade and put it in a small sauce pan... reduce the liquid until thick and pour over the cooked pork... OMG!!!
(sorry, used the quick reply and my spellin aint the greatest)

Thank you for the welcome Raph. I will probably have more to offer in this thread than any other, lol. I do LOVE to eat! You should try the pork marinade too! Wish I'd taken a picture before I picked up the carving knife, lol.

Ate at IHOP. Good food but service was a little slow but, it was a little crowded. I had Biscuits and gravy with link sausage, hash browns and eggs. Husband had the Tuity Fruity Pancakes.

Ramen noodles, creamy chicken, with Cajun spices. Wine is my beverage.
Yeah, not so great....but I'm trying to save money. $0.16 for dinner is not a bad deal!

That's usually what I eat when the Mr. is at the fire hall. It's cheap and it's pretty good when I add the Cajun spices.
It's probably not the most nutritious thing to eat, but it's gotta be better than fast food, not to mention less expensive.
I'm a salt addict, so the sodium doesn't bother me. It will most likely be the death of me.

The last time I ate Ramen, I tossed the seasoning package and used a little butter and garlic. It was just as good and it didn't have all the sodium and other chemicals.

My husband and I had a fantastic meal at Porters a couple of weeks ago. A bit pricey, but worth every penny!

today i went out for the first time since coming home from the hospital. i'm done with the antibiotics and can finally taste food again. jersey boy took me to the Fireside Inn for lunch where we sat next to the fire. we split hot wings for an appetizer and then i had the best bacon cheddar cheeseburger and some boring curly fries. i had ordered regular fries but service had been slow so i dealt with them.
MD went no smoking in bars on Feb 1st so the BF had to deal with not being able to smoke. he did step out once for one so that was good for him as he usually chain smokes. and, at the 3 week point, i felt no desire to smoke. but, i will admit, it helps that i would not be able to smoke at the bar had i wanted to so this ban is going to help me.

I could not, would not, on a boat. I will not, will not, with a goat. I will not eat them in the rain. I will not eat them on a train. Not in the dark! Not in a tree! Not in a car! You let me be! I do not like them in a box. I do not like them with a fox. I will not eat them in a house. I do not like them with a mouse. I do not like them here or there. I do not like them ANYWHERE!
I do not like green eggs and ham!
I do not like them, Nana-I-am.

Green Eggs and Ham à la Sam-I-Am Ingredients
1-2 tablespoons of butter or margarine 4 slices of ham 8 eggs 2 tablespoons of milk 1-2 drops of green food coloring 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
What You'll Need knife, medium-size mixing bowl, wire whisk or eggbeater, large frying pan, spatula, aluminum foil, serving plates
1. With an adult's help, melt a teaspoon of butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add sliced ham and brown until edges are slightly crisp. Remove the ham from the pan, cover with aluminum foil, and set aside.
2. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Beat with a whisk until frothy. Then add 1-2 drops of green food coloring until you reach the desired shade of green.
3. With an adult's help, heat a tablespoon of butter or margarine in a large frying pan over medium heat until the butter begins to sizzle. Then add the egg mixture to the pan.
4. Stir the egg mixture with a spatula until the eggs are firm and not too runny.
5. Transfer the eggs to individual plates. Garnish with a sprig of parsley. Add the ham prepared earlier. Serve with toast or warm rolls.
Feeds 4 hungry green-egg lovers.
