Do you want something to be made individually, or something you can serve like a punch?

Okay, I have never made this nor tried it, but it sounds yummy.
INGREDIENTS 2 cups water 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled 4 cups cranberry-apple juice, chilled 1 liter ginger ale, chilled
DIRECTIONS In a saucepan, bring the water, sugar and cinnamon to a boil; stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill. Just before serving, combine the syrup mixture, juices and ginger ale in a punch bowl or large pitcher. Serve over ice.

That does sound good, but when I think of this group, I'm thinking they will want an alcohol drink. You think I could add something to it...like say, Vodka?

ohhh, my favorites in "punch" type are HUNCH PUNCH and FRUIT SANGRIA.
Fruity Sangria: Bottle of your favorite white wine (This recipe is just as delicious with a good red wine, if you so choose) 1 Lemon cut into wedges 1 Orange cut into wedges 1 Lime cut into wedges 1 Peach cut into wedges 1 Cup sliced strawberries 1/2 Cup lemonade or limeade 1/2 Cup Sugar 2 shots of apricot, peach or "berry" flavored brandy 2 Cups ginger ale Optional: one can of diced pineapple pieces with juice PREPARATION: Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sliced peaches, strawberries limeade/lemonade, sugar and brandy. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale and ice just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled white wine and serve over lots of ice.

I would think you could. I was not sure if you were looking for alcoholic or non. Here is where I found it. I have found some good stuff on this site. This is the link to the holiday drink recipes. Yes, that was not my recipe, I am not a great cook/craft type person. But I can find recipes. allrecipes.com/Recipes/Holidays-and-Events/Christmas/Beverages/ViewAll.aspxThere is one in there that is called "christmas punch" that has rum and triple sec that sounds good as well.

Here's the hunch punch:
16 oz. Orange Juice (Frozen) - (more) 16 oz. Pineapple Juice - (more) 8 cup(s) Ginger Ale - (more) 8 cup(s) Sprite - (more) 3 gallon(s) Hawaiian Fruit Punch (Original flavour) - (more) 1/5 gallon(s) Everclear - (more) 1/5 gallon(s) Vodka - (more)
Of course , you can do a bottle of everclear, gallon of fruit punch and a frozen punch ring, and it's still good!!!!!

A friend of mine makes a poinsettia punch. It's Champagne, triple sec and cranberry.
It's pretty festive and not too high in alcohol, so the ight drinkers can enjoy it as well.

Per bottle of champagne I would add about 3oz of triple sec and a half cup of cranberry.
Just mix a one bottle batch to start and you can adjust it to your taste.

For the seasoned drinker: The Cloudy Sunrise2oz Vodka 2oz White Rum 1oz Triple Sec Splash of Roses Lime Juice Put Vodka, Rum and Triple Sec in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Pour contents into a chilled cocktail glass Add a splash of Roses lime Juice Garnish with a half slice of orange placed on the rim. Mrs Fredo and I invented this one year and served it at the New Years party. It went over very well.

remember children, liquor comes in meteric measure now. That may be true, but all of my instruments refuse to update. i.e. My measuring cup is still a cup. It steadfastly refuses to become a deciliter.

A Mimosa is a cocktail-like drink composed of three parts champagne and two parts thoroughly chilled orange juice traditionally served in a tall champagne flute.
And, you can't go wrong!

Hey Fredo, any particular kind of champagne I should get? I like the Asti Spumante champagne/sparkling wine. Would that work?

ballatore asti (made by gallo) is quite inexpensive--used to be less than half the price of martini & rossi--and it is a bit sweeter than M&R asti making it good for mixing.
