I'm talking FOOD here, not alcohol, nicotine, caffine, etc. Just food. Example: whenever I get sick... I usualy say, "I want a hamburger." Husbands says, "maybe you feel worse because you need iron." I say, "Maybe that's why my doctor said that whenever I have flare-up, my anemia acts up." I love my husband. I love SONIC. ;D

The "hungries" hit around 9 pm. I answer them with a bowl of honey-nut cheerio-type cereal & milk.

I find myself craving fast food while I'm driving. I guess it comes from all the years of eating on the go.
Fortunately, Mrs Fredo makes me eat real food now. It probably added years to my life.

That explains the loss of the cookie in your AV. ;D You got it. When I go to get a snack to eat and whatever I want is not there, my husband says "Armed terrorist came in and ate it." We have attacks from armed terrorist all the time.

Whenever something in the house is not put away where it belongs, Sgt K blames one of the dogs.

I had strep throat 5-7 times a year when I was growing up. My pediatrician was directly across from the Hixson Krystal ... Krystal happened to be just about the only food I could digest when my throat was raw because of that soft, steamed bun ... I still love my Krystal to this day!

Whenever something in the house is not put away where it belongs, Sgt K blames one of the dogs. All this reminds me of when my husband comes home from the grocery store with all kinds of goodies, ice cream, etc. Knowing full good and well neither of us need these things in our kitchen, he blames the person at the store who bagged his items saying they must have confused his groceries with someone elses.

Comfort food to me is potato soup. This may sound normal to some folks, BUT... my first experience with potato soup was my parents had caught me in a somewhat bad situation (not my fault ) as a young teen. While I was receiving the third degree from my father, my mother was making me eat potato soup (between sobs). Soooooo.... why in the world would I consider THIS my comfort food? Still, I want potato soup any time I am sick or upset for any reason to this day. And without going into detail, I'll just say this was a few decades ago.

When I have a cold and sore throat, I want banana popsicles. If I have a upset stomach, I want oyster stew. Everyone in my house this last week has been sick but me. I told my daughter-in-law about the banana popsicles and she tried it and really liked it. Makes the throat feel good.
