I was at an afterparty & a fellow asked me to turn around so he could see the back of my head! How cool is that? Nice to meet ya' atticflea! Good to meet you as well. You popped my cherry being the first forumite I've met " in the wild". That perplexed look on your face when I asked to see the back of your head was PRICELESS! I had to be sure it was her.

The Mrs and I were down there on Saturday. I reminds me a bit of the North side 15 years ago. Now that we're thoroughly gentrified up here, I guess you guys will be getting all the funky new stuff.
I do wish we had Niedlovs on this side of the river. We are starved for fresh bread.

wow.. it has been a while since I popped any cherries!
yes fredo, it has the makings of the N Shore but hopefully as more artists move in it will be a bit different. there may be an art stroll in the spring where artists will open their homes & businesses to the public. it is more of a collaborative effort than anything.

I was looking around there on Saturday, and was really surprised by the amount of available real estate. Most of it is in really rough shape, but there are still some pretty cool buildings around. We need some sort of artsy community around here, but the rents on this side of the river have just gone out of sight. Hill city is the only neighborhood that hasn't been overrun, but I have a feeling that it's imminent.
