I just want to give that guy some kudos. We've taken our cars there for a variety of repair and maintenance over the last year. He's not cheap, but he's done a good job and we don't have to worry about being sold unnecessary services.
He had a chance to screw me out of around $300 today and declined to do so. I was initially suspicious of the place because of the Jesus fish, but that has proven to be entirely unfounded.
Thanks Marti. You're the man.

good mechanics are hard to find. geeks are everywhere but the real brains have grease under their nails! I've got a good mechanic who spent 25 yrs at a Honda dealership. Honest and knows his stuff. Doesn't have to advertise. Sometimes you have to wait since he's a one man show and very busy though.
