Someone told me something impossible and I need to confirm. Does Buddyo's make the real Leonard's burger? Has anyone frequented this joint?
Hope everyone is doing well.

Man, oh man. I hadn't thought about Leonard's in years. I used to do a lot of hanging out in Leonard's. They had a damned good burger. (Or was it just the beers that made them so good) I haven't been to Buddy O's. I'll have to check it out and let you know!

I lived behind Leonard's and started eating those things when I was 10. Bill let me help tear out the floor behind the bar and keep all the change that I had found. It was like $70.00. I played it all in the pinball machines in the back, thus, giving it all back to him. Still though... Just awesome burgers. I used to run errands up and down brainerd road between Leonard's and the Doughnut shop that was across the street from what used to be Mr Fifteen. (ew) Best Doughnuts made fresh and warm every morning.

I pass by Buddy O's fairly frequently but hadn't really considered stopping. Now I' guess I'll have to consider it.

Also my friend had said that Buddy Oguinn (BuddyO's) used to cook for Leonards. I don't remember that name right off hand but I was young. The only Buddy that I remember was Buddy O'Neal that owned the Brainerd Drug Store/after hours club.

I don't remember a guy named Buddy either. But that was a lot of years and a lot of beers ago. I do remember Herb & Bill, though. As I recall, Bill opened a burger joint in East Ridge after Leonard's closed. Bill has since passed over to the great beyond. Lost trap of Herb after Leonard's closed.
