I think it was on the forum once, may have been Nooga, but someone said something about nibbling the baby's fingernails off. Maybe you need to take that route... It was me I think Blue did it with her children as well. Ya'll did gross out. Just a little nibble to keep the sharpies away. My grandmother actually demonstrated the procedure while we were still in the hospital.... passing it down to the next generation. I miss her & her pickled green tomatoes. EWWWW, not blue, but another poster whose not on here anymore. I was giving him alot of shit over that...........hahahaha. I don't really like babies all that much, they carry lots of germs be damned if I chew the nails.......hahahah

It's time that he started sleeping longer. I'm glad that you guys are getting some good rest now. You realize that by posting this, you have jinxed yourself, right? ;D

I'm not worried about a jinx, that stuff is for voodoo priests and little kids.

Maybe. I got a good deal on an actual crib yesterday, so we're going to start transitioning him to that over the next few days.
While I'm at it, thanx to Copperhead, I didn't have to buy a crib mattress. I had no idea that they were so expensive.

I'm glad to have been of help! Just think, when it's time to transition him to a toddler bed (if you go that route), you won't need to replace the mattress then, either. Just move it onto the toddler frame.

Well, we had a good run. Last night didn't go as well. He is still young. Take what you can get! I can't stress the importance of getting him in a crib ASAP. He needs to learn how to sleep alone. If you have trouble with adjustments to the new bedding, let me know and I will have some practical suggestions for you guys. I STRONGLY recommend the following book to help with sleep. www.amazon.com/Healthy-Sleep-Habits-Happy-Child/dp/0449004023It is the most valuable baby book I ever read.
