Then there's the appetizer. Mrs Fredo makes a nice little bruscetta and serves it on the remains of a lovely ciabatta that she made a few days ago. Evidence that I definitely married well.

Mine, with a nice broiled pork chop: Mrs Fredo's, sans pork: Fellas: I highly recommend that you marry a woman who can cook. There simply is nothing better. Loooks good. Now I'm hungry again. ;D There are lots of great old family recipes and old cookbooks using many ingredients that today would just not be considered too healthy. I've often wondered how they break down nutritionally, in the way you see on packaged food labels (calories per serving, protein, etc., etc.). Friday, I heard about this site on TV. www.dietitians.ca/public/content/eat_well_live_well/english/recipeanalyzer/recipeanalyzer.aspYou don't need to register to do a recipe analysis but you can, if you want to save your recipes on the site. You input the recipe ingredients, indicate the number of servings that the recipe makes and it figures out all the nutritional details for you. Neat and it's free. Now you can run some of your favorite home made indulgences through the analyzer and see just how good they are for you or help to explain why you gain 5 pounds every time you make it or have some. Or then again, maybe you're not that curious, in which case, forget I mentioned it.

So, how do we give exalt points to Mrs. Fredo?
Should we all smite Fredo for making us drool on our keyboards?

Pizza again tonight. I'll try to take some pics this time. It's a sure fire bet that I take more pictures of my food than anyone I know.

"Fellas: I highly recommend that you marry a woman who can cook. There simply is nothing better."
There is one thing better. Knowing how to cook yourself. I can out-cook most women I know (except my mama).

My husband and I both cook. We share the responsibility. I must admit, it's nice to have a man waiting on you sometimes.

"it's nice to have a man waiting on you sometimes."I'm constantly waiting on my wife. Waiting for her to get out of the bathroom, waiting for her to get ready to go out, waiting for her to get home from shopping, ......., etc.

I have to say it is all about texture for me. The rice looks like mush with black bugs in it. Sorry, it is all about texture.

Because of my job I have been to every eating establishment in Chattanooga and a few in Atlanta, New York, Boston, Virginia, Main, the staff will tell you the above statement is very mild. The chop looks hmmmmmmmm.
